Congratulations go to Ros Canter & LORDSHIPS GRAFFALO (stable name, Walter). This record-breaking equestrian duo won Burghley Horse Trials for the second year in a row.

This made LORDSHIPS GRAFFALO the first horse to ever win Burghley Horse Trials twice. This win also meant the pair were the first to win both Burghley Horse Trials and Badminton Horse Trials twice; the double double!
Ros and LORDSHIPS GRAFFALO also won Badminton earlier this year and Ros announced her second pregnancy just before the Burghley win. What a year!
This was their last event together before Ros takes a break from competition to have her second child.
Ros is the first rider to win Badminton and Burghley in the same year on the same horse since Ginny Leng in 1989 .
Ros describes Walter as her "horse of a lifetime" and has said "I am so grateful to Lordships Graffalo for some unbelievable experiences ... I hope he goes down as a legend of our sport, a legend of all time. Not only but for his performances but also for his character. He's an unbelievable horse to have at home and absolutely thrives on these occasions."
We made a rocking replica of LORDSHIPS GRAFFALO last year. This was used to raise funds to support the British Equestrian team in the Paris Olympic games. The lucky winner of this rocking horse lives in Australia.
