Marking the 80th Anniversary of VE Day

Raising a special VE Day flag and watching it fly high above our stand at Badminton Horse Trials, we stopped to remember all those who sacrificed so much for our freedom.

We thought of the brave men and women in our armed forces today and, of course, we prayed for an end to ongoing conflicts around the world.

Seeing our rocking horses below the flag was a reminder of the millions of horses who died in World War II (estimates vary between 2 and 5 million horses); we remember their service and sacrifice as well.

We shared a video on our social media channels; the video has Winston Churchill's famous speech heard over footage of our Limited Edition Churchill's Charger. We made Churchill's Charger for the late Queen Elizabeth II in celebration of her Diamond Jubilee. It was a tribute to the lifelong friendship these two incredible leaders held.
