We were commissioned to make this wonderful Norwegian style throne for Harry Verney, the outgoing Site Director of Badminton Horse Trials.

In celebration of his 26 years running the event, he really deserved a one-of-a-kind retirement gift.

The throne was presented to Harry at the weekend. Hand-carved from a Badminton Oak tree gifted by His Grace, The Duke of Beaufort, this really is a unique piece and we thoroughly enjoyed making it.

We wish Harry a very happy retirement indeed. We hope he loves his gift for many years to come and enjoys many a happy cup of tea on it.
