To commemorate the 800th anniversary of the signing of Magna Carta, this limited edition rocking horse was designed to look like King John's own horse, based on the only known portrait of the monarch riding. Painted onto English oak with correct period tack and King John's crest on the saddlecloth, the horse includes a bespoke copy of the document hidden in a secret compartment.
The seal of Magna Carta has been carved and cast in bronze and this hangs on the martingale, behind which is the secret chest of drawer which houses a handwritten copy of Magna Carta in Latin featuring the crests of the barons.
