We made our first rocking donkey in April 2014. The piece was commissioned by a wonderful lady named Stella who ordered the rocking donkey as a gift to herself on her 50th birthday. The design was based on Ned, her favourite donkey, and bears a great resemblance to him.
The photos of The Rocking Donkey were so well received on social media, that we've since had further orders for rocking donkeys and hope to make many more of these delightful pieces.
All our rocking donkeys are made to order so if you'd like something different, just ask. We would be happy to create a custom piece just for you.
With those fabulously long ears, the rocking donkey is uniquely different and will be a beautiful statement piece in any home.
The Donkey
As each piece is handmade to order, there will be a wait of approximately 6 weeks for your rocking horse. We will let you know an accurate timescale when we receive your order. There may be an additional charge for certain accessories. This will be advised when we contact you to finalise all options for your order.
Delivery: Local delivery is included within a 20 mile radius for all our rocking horses. Alternatively, you can collect your rocking horse from our showroom in Kent and even take a tour of the workshop at the same time.
UK mainland delivery is charged at £350. We will contact you to arrange a convenient date and time to deliver your horse.
Shipping: An additional charge will be applicable to overseas orders; we will provide up-to-date shipping costs when we call you to discuss your order. If you are not happy with these shipping costs, we will offer you the option to arrange your own courier, collect from the workshop or to cancel and provide a refund for your order.
