Demelza Children's Charity held their annual summer ball at Kensington Palace last week on Friday 16th September. The top auction lot was our large dapple grey rocking horse signed by much-loved actress Joanna Lumley. The horse was auctioned along with a signed brochure and the mask that Joanna Lumley wore when she attended the London premiere of her recent Absolutely Fabulous movie.
The rocking horse raised £5,500 for the charity which will be used to provide hospice care to babies and children with life-threatening or life-limiting conditions in Kent, London and East Sussex. In addition to hospice care, the charity also provide support for the families and hospice care for children in the comfort of their own home.
The ball was held in The Orangery at Kensington Palace and was attended by Deborah Stevenson, Kyle Stevenson and Hannah Brown who represented Stevenson Brothers at the event.
