Win a Limited Edition Rocking Zebra

19th March 2012

Last chance to purchase a ticket to win this zebra, which will be drawn at Easter. Tickets cost just £10 each and are available to buy online.

This exquisite, handmade rocking zebra features exceptional details and is made from the highest quality materials. Carved wildebeest decorate the aged grey oak stand while the zebra itself is tacked in muted Tan and Havanna and mounted on aged metal work. Handmade by skilled craftspeople at the workshop in Kent, the rocking zebra pays tribute to the childhood of Stevenson Brothers owners Marc and Tony who grew up in Kenya, making it even more fitting to help raise funds for the Vipingo Village Fund's work there.

The Vipingo Village Fund is a UK registered charity which manages several projects in the Vipingo Coast of Kenya. The charity has built and maintains The Future Hope Montessori School in Vipingo and also runs community and conservation projects in the area.

The Montessori school provides education, safety, health care and food for some 120 children of the village, all of whom are affected in some way by AIDS, either orphaned or who are themselves infected but all are living in abject poverty. Outside of school term time, the school provides a holiday club to offer a safe haven, food and fun 365 days a year. Conservation projects include a marine conservation and turtle watch program while community projects include a sewing co-operative, chicken co-operative and a market garden.

To help the charity in their continued work in the Vipingo village, please purchase a raffle ticket online for £10. Your £10 will feed one child two meals a day for a month plus you will be in with a chance of winning a rocking zebra worth £4,200 for Easter. Please note: this raffle has now been drawn.
